With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charlene Evelyn Heard of Brighton, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Charlene Evelyn left this world on June 8, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Heard; her parents, Walter Gates and Mae Gates; her grandparents, George and Julie Gates; her siblings, Vivian Copeland and Richard Gates; and her sons, Dennis and Duane Heard.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Biers, Carol Brendel, Nancy Layton, Sandra Steinacker, Laura Weiskirch and Gary Heard. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, MacDonald Chapel (315 N Michigan Ave, Howell, MI 48843). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Charlene's honor to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
