He was predeceased by: his parents, Evert Meyer and Thelma Meyer; his wife Sandra Meyer; his son Craig; his daughter-in-law Cyndi Burwitz; and his daughter Michaela Martin.
He is survived by: his son Bruce Burwitz (Joleen); his grandchildren, Ellie Burwitz, Alexandria Lamb, Jared Burwitz, Nick Martin and Brenna Martin; his sister Marie Ait; his sibling-in-law Nordine; his nephews, Taj and Nadir; and his niece Tammy.
The inurnment was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
