He was predeceased by: his parents, George Evans and Lydia Evans (Mahome); his granddaughter Jennifer Wilson; and his siblings, Walter Evans, Robert Evans, Jerry Evans and Betty Behr.
He is survived by: his wife Beverley Evans; his children, Donna Wilson (Dale), Tami King (Charlie) and Kevin Evans (Patricia Clouatre); and his brother Roger Evans. He is also survived by six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
