We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2025, at the age of 71, Edward Stanley Pitts of Brighton, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Edward departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Edward. Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Pitts and Dorothy Pitts. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Pitts (Kathy); and his daughters, Meghen Williams (Chris) and Kelley Pitts-VanderMeer (Ken).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Brighton (600 E Main St, Brighton, MI 48116). The lying in state was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
