It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emery Leslie DeMers of Brighton, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Carole Swoboda (Stephen); and his parents, Emery DeMers and Kay DeMers. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Miles; his sons, Mark (Kathleen), Steven (Laurie) and Matthew (Karen); his son-in-law Stephen Swoboda (Misty); his sister Jacqueline (George Newport); his grandchildren, Kailyn Heflin (Jarrick), Devon Swoboda, Ryan, Emily, Nicholas, Hannah, Isabella and Brett DeMers; and his great grandchildren, Carolyn, Harper and Silas Heflin.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Emery's memory to the St. Louis Center in Chelsea, Michigan.
