It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hubert James Mortensen (Brighton, Michigan), born in Iron Mountain, Michigan, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Marie Mortensen and Severt Mortensen; and his wife Mariel Walker. He is survived by : his brother Derrick (Carole); his children, Jim Mortensen (Laurie), MariAnn Apley (Dale) and Linda Mortensen; and his grandchildren, Kate Mortensen (Jordan Northrop), Andrea Mortensen (Dan Bartran), Jamie Mortensen (Alex Wolfe), Braeleigh, Caroline and Trip Apley.
