She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Harshbarger and Patricia Harshbarger; and her sisters, Terri Gentry and Sue Binder. She is survived by: her husband Anthony "Tony" Riccardi; her sons, Stephen Riccardi (Erin) and Andrew Riccardi; and her siblings, Doug Harshbarger, Mari Gevat (Dick), Nick Harshbarger (Dawn), Alexandra and Ryan Mooney.

In lieu of flowers, Kathy's family requests that donations be made in her name to the Make A Wish Foundation and St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
