He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henderlong and Edith Henderlong; his grandson Kevin Henderlong; and his siblings, Geraldine Hargan (David) and Clifford Henderlong.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Nielsen; his children, Michael Henderlong (Betty), Patrick Henderlong (Connie), Shawn Henderlong (Susan) and Kathleen Von Voigtlander (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jason Henderlong (Nicole), Brian Henderlong, Diana Pace (Jason), Daniel Henderlong (Ashley), Dr. Dawn Kuszynski (Matt), David Henderlong, Nicholas Henderlong, Jacob Henderlong, Jeff Von Voigtlander II (Tabatha) and Jennifer Von Voigtlander; and his family Lawrence.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Keehn-Griffin Funeral Home (706 W Main St, Brighton, MI 48116). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
