He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alfred Schaffier and Ina Mae Jones; his former wife Yvonne; his stepchild Mikele Garrett (Marge); his brother Patrick Schaffier (Sharon); and his stepsibling Robin McPherson.
He is survived by: his children, Jodie Lehman (Steven), Tracey Hollis (Rob) and Debbie Behr (Ron); his stepchildren, Stephanie Wagner (Paul), Jason, James and Craig Garrett; his siblings, Frankie Schaffier (Lori), Michael Schaffier (Miki), Cynthia Crenshaw (Michael) and Sally Hawley (Ed); and his stepsiblings, Billy Muse (Carol), Jill Conley (late Rick) and Mark McPherson (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
