He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gallaway and Marion Gallaway (Tebo); his wife Mary Jane Gallaway; his son Michael Gallaway; and his siblings, James, Dorothy, Irene, Ed, Almeda and Lloyd.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Gallaway, Barbara Gallaway, Brian Gallaway, Scott Gallaway (Laura) and Lisa Vermette; his daughter-in-law Sandra Kazensky; his grandchildren, Emily, Alicia, Ashley, Rachel, Austin, Nevaeh, Noah and Elena; and his great grandchildren, Anderson, Tate and Savanna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
