He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick M. Diskin and Margaret Diskin (Collins); his siblings, Patrick Diskin, Marie Katros, Charles Diskin and Harold Diskin; and his grandson Eric Buddenborg.

He is survived by: his sister Eleanor Licht (Terry); his children, Karen Buddenborg (Bruce), Michael Diskin, Jan Diskin, Lynda Winiarski (Bill), Ann Bischoff (Ray) and Susan Braschwitz; his grandchildren, Katie DeNooyer (Shaun), Thomas Buddenborg, Nathan Diskin (Lilia), Tyler Diskin, Alex Diskin, Rebecca Diskin, Kelsey Winiarski, Danielle Winiarski, Mary Cosier (Seth), Renee Wesley (James), Andrew Bischoff, Daniel Bischoff, Thomas Braschwitz, Anna Braschwitz and Joe Braschwitz; and his great grandchildren, Natalie Diskin and Frida DeNooyer.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Vincent DePaul Society - Holy Spirit parish.
