He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lantzy and Edith Lantzy (Broyles); his wife Mary; and his siblings, Eleanor, Earl Jr. Joanne, Joseph and Robert.

He is survived by: his children, Ronald Lantzy (Elizabeth), Leroy Lantzy (Cheryl), Dennis Lantzy (Diane), Gregory Lantzy (Ann), Diane Mueller (Mark) and Donna Johnson (Jeffrey); and his sister Dorothy Jean Smith. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
