He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Daniels and Mary Daniels (LaBreque); and his siblings, Elaine, Lois, Lona, Claude, Melvin and Randy.

He is survived by: his wife Christina Daniels (Nelson); his children, Renee Daniels of Grand Rapids, Tim Daniels (Betty) of Barbeau, Ron (Tammy) of Sault Ste and Marie; his grandchildren, Trevor Daniels, Jade Daniels, Danielle Parish, Jereme Daniels, Sean Daniels and Shelby Setera; and his great grandchildren, Everleigh, Bennett, Walker, Crew, Stella and Keaton.
