He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Carrick and Marie Carrick (Hill); his son Christopher Behnke; his brothers, Ben Carrick (Katie), Mike Carrick and David Carrick; his brothers-in-law, Glen Bergeron, Gary Bergeron, Mark Bergeron and Terry Deuman Sr.; his nephew Terry Dueman Jr.; his niece Vivian Renee Jones; and his great-nephew Jeffe Dakota Bjork.
He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Dustin Behnke (Ginny) of Wyoming and Kelsi Palo (Rick) of Sault Ste; his grandchildren, Kalie Behnke, Zach Hagen, Nicholas Behnke, Dax Palo and Van Palo; his great grandchildren, Ryland Foy and Violet Foy; his siblings, Gwen Deuman of Brimley, Mel Fust of Brimley, Becky Parish (Duane "Petsy") of Bay Mills, Laurie Robbins (Reg) of Brimley, Mary Kurtz (Al Robinson) of Bay Mills, Eileen Cameron (Norman) of Bay Mills, Chris Carrick (Carol) of Bay Mills and Suzanne Carrick of Brimley; and his in-laws, Kathi Carrick, Linda Mayer (Dennis), Cindy Bergeron, Susan Hagen, Mary Lou Bergeron and Ray Braydon (Sue).
