He is survived by: his children, Sierra Ortiz of Battle Creek, Adam Ortiz of Sarasota, FL and Ellis of Battle Creek; his grandsons, Grayson Ortiz and Ke'air Ellis; his siblings, Lupe Ortiz (Robin Murray), Jose Ortiz (Elena), Carlos Ortiz, Juan Ortiz (Irma), Eddie Ortiz and Rudy Ortiz; his parents, Ramon Garcia and Rosita Garcia (Perez); and his sisters, Libe Rangel and Ofelia Rangel. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
