She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Carpenter and Wilma Carpenter (Pelmear); her stepfather Paul Weidler; her brother Ken Carpenter; and her daughter Leah Rumsey.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Beechler; her children, Angelique Scheich (Don), Gina Martin, Paul Rumsey (Catrina) and Michael Beechler (Sarah); her sister Donna Griffin (Joe); and her sister-in-law Judy Carpenter. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

It is suggested that donations made in Helen's name be directed to her family.
