He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Hyska and Nellie Hyska (Ludwick); and his siblings, John Hyska, Bill Hyska, Monica Arver, Don Reed and Chris Savage.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hyska of Bronson; his children, Christopher Hyska (Katie) of Coldwater, Stephanie Somerlott (Chad) of Bronson and Olivia Hyska (Cameron Savage); his sisters, Janet Reed of Sturgis, Cindy Hyska (John Jacumin) of Charleston, SC, Pam McConn (Don) of Bronson and Celeste Brown (John) of Bronson; and his grandchildren, Landon, Lucas Hyska, Charlotte, Kailee, Isla Hyska, Ivy Savage, Cynthia Hyska of Angola, Karen Hyska of Bronson and John Arver of Bronson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Memorials may be directed to the Bronson Athletic Boosters or the Promedica Cancer Center.
