He is survived by: his wife Lois Young of Battle Creek; his children, Robert D. Young of Battle Creek, Paula Young of Battle Creek, Douglas Young of Comstock, MI and Susan EverBlest (John) of Crawford, NE; his grandchildren, Amanda Young, Tabbatha Ford (Eric Crandel, Jr.), Douglas Young, Jr., Dylan Gorham (Stormy) and Scott Young; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Jemma, Douglas III, Madeline, Landen and Klarke; his parents-in-law, JoeAnn Fox (Gerald Jr.) of Holy Hills, Florida, Carol Moss of Battle Creek and Debbie Housner (Forest) of Clanton, Alabama; his friend Terry Hill of Battle Creek; and his cousins, Gladys Aikens and Marie Mullinax (Jack).
