He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Burnett and Geneva Burnett (Zeigler); his wife Sandra Burnett (Boldt); and his siblings, Dale, Mark, Brian Burnett and Twila Ives (Douglas).
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Mark, Susan Ives, Scott, Marcia Ives, Lisa, Jeff Cory, Dawn and Neil Harsh.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (11400 Old Monroe Pike, Brooklyn, MI 49230). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Irish Hills Eagles (9500 Wamplers Lake Rd, Brooklyn, MI 49230).
