He is survived by: his wife Ruth E. Conant; his children, Steve Counts of Bradford, TN, Greg Counts (Laura) of Brooklyn, Nancy Turczin of Clayton, Susan Geen of Fort Pierce, FL and Pamela Counts of Brooklyn; and his siblings, Thomas Counts (Sharon) of Tecumseh and Betty Gilmore of Jackson.
