He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmur and Mildred; his son Roy McMullen; his son-in-law David Behnke; and his siblings, Doug Munro (Roberta), Jim Munro (Judy) and Geraldine Fisher (Frank).

He is survived by: his wife Nettie Noye; his son John McMullen (Laura); his grandchildren, Teri Behnke, Ryan McMullen and Matthew McMullen (Stephanie); his brother George Munro (Charlotte); and his siblings-in-law, Beulah Harris, George Noye (Dorothy) and Duane Schneider. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
