He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gentner and Dorothy Gentner (Willis); his wife Betty Helm; his son Todd Gentner; and his brother Joseph Gentner.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Waters and Scott Gentner; his grandchildren, Zachary Gentner, Rachael Kirkendall, MacKenzie Gutt and Monica Hurley; his great grandchildren, Jonathan Gutt, Adeline Gutt, Maria Gutt, Kieran Gentner, Rhoby Gentner and Raegan Hurley; his siblings, William Gentner and Mary Collom; and his daughter-in-law Debra Gentner.
