He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Hutting and Lerene Hutting (King); his wife Sharon Kay Wilde; his daughter-in-law Tammy Pokela; his brothers, Dave Hutting and Bernard Hutting Jr.; and his brother-in-law Ron Bush.

He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Hutting of Howell, Michigan, Jeff Hutting of Rochester, Michigan and Jamie Hutting (Haley) of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Kourtni Hogg, Steven Hogg, Garrison Pokela-Hutting, Carter Pokela-Hutting, Miles Hutting and Ewan Hutting; and his sisters, Mary Bush and Bernadette Bartel (Gary).
