He was predeceased by : his parents, Jay Bartle and Malinda Bartle. He is survived by : his wife Wilma Jeanne Gould. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Carman Funeral Home (4347 Main St, Brown City, MI 48416). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
