We are sad to announce that, on December 27, 2025, at the age of 53, Edward Sloan of Brown City, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Douglas Sloan. He is survived by: his mother Darlene Mejia-Gonzalez; his wife Rachel Freeland; his children, Amber Cronk (Chris), Aaron Freeland (Genevieve) and Jared Freeland (Chloe); his grandchildren, Bentley, Zoey, Sutton and Presley; his siblings, Julie Sloan and DJ Sloan; his stepsiblings, Rosemary, Melissa, Mike and Andy; Darlene. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to family.
