The memory of Patrick Joseph Doherty of Brown City, Michigan, who passed away on July 30, 2025 at the age of 64, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Doherty and B. Evelyn Doherty (Hauxwell); his brother Tom Doherty; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Somerville and Kirk Finkbeiner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Darlene Pitcher (Al), Theresa Redmond (Leonard), Catherine Somerville, Phil Doherty (Becky), Virginia Finkbeiner, Linda Bissett (Terry), Cynthia Marcol (Marek) and Marilyn Swoish (Rick); and his sister-in-law Vicki Doherty. He is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marsh Funeral Chapel (2675 Main St, Marlette, MI 48453). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (5622 Summers Rd, Brown City, MI 48461).
Due to allergies, the family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Marlette Extended Care Activity Department or "Caring for Calvin.".
