She was predeceased by: her parents, Sophia Haapala and Henry Haapala; her sons, Jack Kamunen and Bob Huhta; her husbands, Edwin Kamunen and Ken Huhta; and her siblings, Mary Huhta, Lempi Sirvio, Elsie Pokela, Ted, Albert, George, Waino and Eino.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Schmidt (Tom), Shannon Bagnasco (John) and Greg Huhta (Cheryl); and her caregivers, Cathy, Sharon, Peggy and Michelle. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
