He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ethridge and Mary Ethridge; his former wife Veneta Ethridge; his siblings, Rosie Anglin, Pauline Baugus and Fred Ethridge; and his sisters-in-law, Connie and Bessie Ethridge.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Hampton; his children, Rick Ethridge (Loretta) and Karen Holt; and his brothers, Harold and Ray Ethridge. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 16 Great Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grand Child.
