She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Edinger and Lizzy Edinger; her husband Arthur Gardiner of Buchanan; and her brother Gerald Edinger. She is survived by: her children, Larry Gardiner (Clara) of Buchanan, Terry Gardiner (Janet) of Fort Wayne, Dixie Pazder (Larry) of Buchanan, Kay Thibault (William) of Ionia, MI and Donna Griggs (Bob) of Baroda; and her sister Betty Haas of Sawyer. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
