With sadness, we share the passing of Lonnie Green (Buchanan, Michigan). Lonnie, born on June 2, 1954, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleatus Green and Jean Zech (Davis); his significant other Susan Smith; and his sisters, Cynthia Scherrer and Cleata Jean.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leeann Alcala (Roger) and Loneta Kirk (Tom); his grandchildren, Sebastian, Taylor, Dakota (Lexi), Bishop (Kileigh), Duston and Emilee; his great grandchildren, Emmit, Briar and Colton; and his siblings, Bonnie Jeschke (Jonny), Kimberly Dailey and Brian Green. He is also survived by three stepchildren; several step-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home- Hoven Chapel (414 E Front St, Buchanan, MI 49107). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
