He is survived by: his wife Ellen Sampson (Napoleon) of Buchanan, MI; his children, Cheryl Stefanini (David) of Hood River, OR, David Napoleon (Jeanie Pugh) of San Diego, CA, Lisa Ringelestein (Don) of Oswego, IL and Vince Napoleon (Michelle) of Chicago Heights, IL; his grandchildren, Michael Napoleon, Anne Ringelestein, John Ringelestein, Sophia Napoleon and Bridget Napoleon; his aunt June Reil (Jack); and his sister Edith Gerdes (Dennis).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Rodger A. Sampson may be offered to White Sox Charities which supports many Chicago based organizations including improving Chicago's youth through education, health and wellness.
