She was predeceased by: her parents, Dana D. Lance and Erma L. Lance (Stack); her siblings, Mary-Jane Griffin, Delbert Lance and Delberta Laskey; her children, Brent Jewell and Claudia Harris; and her granddaughters, Stephanie Pierce and Stasha Kastenschmidt.
She is survived by: her sister Gloria Matthews; her grandchildren, Steven Jewell (Karen Howard), Stacey Stone (Curtis), Alex Harris (Joanne), Melissa Harris, Danielle Harris (Cale) and Daniel Walsh (Tammy); her daughter-in-law Barb Jewell; and her adoptive daughter Judy Vieux. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home (305 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made to Lighthouse Ministry in Lakeland, Florida; Grant United Methodist Church in Grant Township, Michigan; or Wayside Chapel in Buckley, Michigan.
