She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Smith and Naomi Smith (Gorsline); her husband Jerry Fairchild; her sons, John Fairchild and Frank Fairchild; and her sisters, Harriet Wagner and Patty Fairchild.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Fairchild of Burlington and Karl Fairchild (Rhonda) of Sherwood; her grandchildren, BJ, Kourtney and Zackary; her great grandchildren, Abagail, Addison and James; and her sisters, Nancy Gates and Marylou Dodson (Tom). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
