He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Stanley and Clara Ernestine Calkins (Dieter); his daughter Rose Lee; and his siblings, Sherman DeMun, Rodney DeMun, Orlo DeMun, Kenneth Calkins and Edward Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Ruth Peugh; his daughters, Monica Hale (Michael) of Westminster, MD, Cheryl Handysides of Battle Creek, Karla Dowell (Eddie) of Burlington and Karen Calkins of Addison; and his sister Linda Chapek of Perry, NY. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
