James Landis Obituary
We announce the death of James Landis of Burr Oak, Michigan, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 81. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Landis and Betty E. Landis (Waggoner); and his brother Michael Landis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Landis (Milliman); his daughters, Emily Gorr (Sam) of Burr Oak and Jenna Hurley of Burr Oak; his grandchildren, Jada, Joseph, Liam and Lennon; and his sister Diana Willis of Bronson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rosenberg Chapel (807 E Chicago Rd, Sturgis, MI 49091). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
