It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Janet LeGrow of Burton, Michigan, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Carol is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carol's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Curtis and Rosamond Curtis (Harger); her husband Herbert LeGrow; and her son Kurt. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Shields (Darla) and Mike Shields (Trudy). She is also survived by five grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473).
