We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2023, at the age of 85, Dorothy F. (Hicks) Schmidt of Burton, Michigan, born in Cleveland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parent Josephine Jones; her siblings, James Hicks and Harriet Alexander; her son Tommy Jackson; and her pet Tila.

She is survived by : her children, James Jackson (Marie), Charlene Jackson (Rich) and Rose Ivey (Gordy); and her sister Joanne Dosh (Jerry). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends.
