With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Purdue of Burton, Michigan, who passed away on March 8, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Metzger and Ruth Metzger (Keniston); her husband Leonard Purdue; her son David; and her siblings, Helen and Gordon.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim (Terry), Larry (Chip), Tom (Judy), Roy Carl (Pam) and Andy (Lisa); her daughter-in-law Connie; her daughters, Joan Nowyorkas and Ruth Wilcox; and her sisters, Mary Rich and Barbara Sprague (Bill). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
