She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Thompson and Pauline D. Thompson (Clark); her son Eric; her brothers, John Thompson (Phyllis) and Frankie Thompson; her brother-in-law Robert Pocza; and her grandson-in-law Rich Anderson.
She is survived by: her husband Wilson (Sparkplug); her children, Lisa Sullenger (Rich), Dana Stonebraker (Ben) and Michael Johnston (Renee); her grandchildren, Megan Anderson, Aaron Sullenger (Isabelle), Alison Jakubcin (Steve), Bret Csutoras (Kassondra), Laura Mack (Jonah), Kara Brandell (Zach), Cara Walker (Jacob) and Bodan Johnston; and her siblings, Mary Joe Levorson (LeRoy), Barb Austin, Chris Pocza-Backus (Andy) and Carl Buch (Adrienne). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shephard Lutheran Church (5496 Lippincott Blvd, Burton, MI 48519). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
