He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. Baert and Mildred Baert (Giertz); his in-laws, Kenneth and Mary Eichas Gavigan; his sister-in-law Cindy Baert; and his sibling's children, Lynn Fonger, Vikki Fonger Daddario and Scott Fonger.
He is survived by: his significant other Vicky; his children, Katia and Cody; his siblings, Christine Pensler (Jerry), Linda Fonger (John) and Raymond J. Baert; his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Renn (Tom) and Chris Gavigan (Mary); and his friend Deborah Terry (family: Mike Peplinski, Joy Gwizdala). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
