With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marian C. Hanel of Burton, Michigan, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gray and Vera Gray (Buerger); her husband Robert V. Hanel; and her sisters, Kathleen Forshee and Helen Woody.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Hanel, Carol Haney (Randy) and Doug Hanel (Wendy); and her grandchildren, Brent Hanel, Chelsea Hanel, Hillary Rose, Douglas Hanel and Scott Haney. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
