He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Gamelin and Alice Gamelin (Reed); his wife Sharon; his sons, Raymond and David; and his siblings, Betty Lowe, Ella Roach, Donna Delong, Herman and Wilford Gamelin.

He is survived by : his children, Arlene Standokes and Mark Gamelin; his grandchildren, Johnnie Standokes, Alexiss Standokes, Dawsen Hebb (Raymie), Cody Gamelin (Beka), Joseph Gamelin and Rachel Brock (Rob); his daughter-in-law Cheryl Gamelin; and his sister-in-law Jackie Gamelin.
