He was predeceased by : his parents, John Gawne and Beth Griffith; his wife Marlene Davis; and his sisters, Jolenne Dean (Kenny) and Audrey Lounsberry (Neil).

He is survived by : his children, Julie Kimball, Danny Gawne, David Gawne (Cynthia) and Cathy Wolf (Royce). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends.
