Casey VandenBerg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Casey VandenBerg (Byron Center, Michigan), born in Wyoming, Michigan, who passed away on April 20, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank VandenBerg and Minnie VandenBerg; his wife Esther (Werkema); his daughter Sherry McBride; his brother Jay VandenBerg; his parents-in-law, Rev. Sidney and Lillian Werkema; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Riemersma, Jack Werkema (Arlene), Jacqueline Werkema, Lorraine Bawden (Ed), Moe Mrozinski and Nelson Werkema.
He is survived by: his children, Randy VandenBerg (Vicky), Kathy Drake (Bryan) and Shelly VanEngen (Randy); his son-in-law Jeff McBride (Terry); his sister Martha Riemersma; his siblings-in-law, Carol VandenBerg, Gordon Werkema, Carol Werkema, Jeannie VanHouten (Gord) and David Werkema (April); and his close friend Evelyn DeHaan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
