He was predeceased by: his parents, James Boardman and Anna Boardman; his brother Alan; and his brother-in-law Calvin Klaasen (Pat). He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Thomas, Renee Boardman, Linda, Jeffrey Wheeler, Diane and Craig DeVries; his grandchildren, Hannah Carr (Nathan), Micah Boardman, Leah Boardman, Austin Wheeler (Alyssa), Alexa Eckl (Caleb), Jordan DeVries (Ashley Cherry) and Emma DeVries; his great grandchild Titus Carr; his sister-in-law Donna Boardman; his nephews, Daniel, Russell and Robert Boardman (Kristen); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Klaasen, Donald Klaasen (Ruth), Larry Klaasen (Ardy), Beverly Koster (Donald) and Bruce Klaasen (Ranay). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
