He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Mete; and his mother-in-law Arlene VanDyke. He is survived by: his wife Diana Mete (VanDyke); his daughter Rebecca Mete (Wesson); his mother Susie Mete; his siblings, Steven Mete (Mary) and Debra Sellers; his father-in-law David VanDyke; and his brothers-in-law, David VanDyke (Deb) and Doug VanDyke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
