She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Boven; her parents, Gerrit Warsen and Margaret Warsen; and her sisters, Geneva Doornbos and Delores Warsen.

She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Boven (Tom Shay) and Roxanne Bareman (Tim); her grandchildren, Paul Bandstra (Jenna), Krysten Bandstra, Kelsey Bandstra, Chad Bareman (Brittany), Andrea Czyzewicz (Chad), Ryan Bareman and Alisa Windham (Logan); her great grandchildren, Braylee, Jameson, Tye, Lillian, Jadyn, Beckett, Everett, Brooklyn and Camryn Gene; and her sister-in-law Marlene Davis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
