He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Dietz and Verna Dietz; his sister Bonnie Dietz; and his brother-in-law Johnny Amante. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Tamara Lopez (Jesse) and Wendy Bouwens (Andy); his grandchildren, Taylor Clark (Sarah), Kayleigh Clark, Ryley Bartosiewicz (Tony), Nolan Bouwens, Delaney Bouwens, Jaelynn Lopez, Jessica Lopez and Brittany Dietz (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Jaxen, Colten Clark, Treysen, Emersyn DeBoer, Jordyn Brew, Lincoln, Kashton Bartosiewicz, Roman and Rocco Dietz; his sisters, Bette Jack, Connie Dearden (Harry), Dawn Lown and Brenda Dietz; and his siblings-in-law, Marian Vos, Sue Rinck and Tom Amante (Tami). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 6:45 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (4101 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49509).
Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, with a time for eulogies at 6:45 p.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Wounded Warrior Project (https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org).
