It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janet Slot of Byron Center, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 70, on October 13, 2025. She is survived by: her husband Ken Slot; her children, Jason (Janna Slot), Kristi (Mike McWilliams), Merridith (James Snyder) and Tim (Leah Slot); her grandchildren, Ethan, Megan, Micah, Norah Slot, Colin, Elias, Eliana McWilliams, Alexander, Oliver Snyder, Jonah and Isaiah Slot; and her in-laws, Robert, Ginney Herrema, Don, Sue Herrema, Teresa Slot, Ruth and John Idema. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Church (1675 84th St SE, Caledonia, MI 49316).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gift of Life or a Christian school of your choice.
