With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marlene Groeneveld of Byron Center, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marlene left this world on June 7, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merland Pepper and Lillian Pepper; and her sisters, Phyllis Hatcher and Charlotte Terpstra. She is survived by: her husband Arnold Groeneveld; her children, Brian Groeneveld (Lisa), Kevin Groeneveld (Deb) and Kristi Garzelloni (Frank); her grandchildren, Brianna, Michael (Lindsay), Jacob, Kaylee, Aaron (Cassi), Kegan (Monica), Emily (Ryan), Nicklas, Shelby, Molly, Jillian, Frank and Giada; her great grandchildren, Dalton and Goldie; and her brother Lee Pepper (Kaye).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Marlene, may be made to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.
